The HPI check ensures that the car you are buying is genuine, and is checked against over 60 million records at the DVLA and DVNI department.
This allows us to confirm the manufacturer, model, door plan, original colour, transmission and engine size.
It is a the vehicle ID that allows us to confirm the real age of the car, should there be any uncertainty. This also allows us to check if the mileage is likely to be genuine.
